The role of a PSA in society is to get out a message, not advocating you buy anything, but maybe to learn a lesson, such as not texting and driving or drunk driving are the most common ones. It's to sell an idea rather than a product. My group decided on the topic of the emotional and negative consequences of Teen Sexting. Sexting is something that time has brought us to be familiar with, it's when you send/receive nude pictures of someone. We felt this topic was important because some of us know of the incidents South High has been involved with, with sexting, and also to kind of scare people out of doing it because it really does cost you a lot of things, your reputation at school,  and in legal cases, it can be considered child pornography and you could be sentenced to jail. Our plan is to show that a girl THOUGHT she could trust her boyfriend with her sending him a nude photo of herself, but in the end, he forwards it out to his friends and it gets spread around school. You should NEVER trust anyone with this kind of thing. We wanna share that with some of the people who don't exactly understand that.
